Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Ashforte collects, how it is used, and the rights of individuals whose data we hold.

Last updated: 1 January 2026

1. Who we are

Ashforte is a contractor-focused consulting firm supporting the commercial and contractual side of project delivery for contractors across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Ashforte.

2. What information we collect

We collect only the personal information necessary to respond to enquiries and to deliver our services:

  • Name, company and contact details submitted through the enquiry form.
  • Information voluntarily provided in email correspondence with us.
  • Basic technical information collected by the website (IP address, browser type, referring page), used only for analytics and security.

We do not collect payment information through this website. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

3. How we use information

Personal information you provide is used solely to:

  • Respond to enquiries and provide the information you have requested.
  • Deliver services under any engagement letter agreed with your organisation.
  • Send occasional relevant updates where you have expressly consented to receive them.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory or professional obligations.

4. How the enquiry form works

Our contact form does not transmit data to any third-party form processor. When you complete the form, the information is formatted and passed to your own email client, which opens with a pre-filled message addressed to contact@ashforte.com. No message is sent until you click send within your email application. This approach keeps your information under your control.

5. Cookies and analytics

The website uses a minimal set of technical cookies necessary for basic functionality. It does not deploy tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics that identify individuals. See our Cookies notice for detail.

6. Legal basis for processing

Where applicable data protection law (including the UK GDPR and equivalent regimes) requires a legal basis for processing personal information, we rely on one or more of the following: your consent, our legitimate interests in operating a professional services firm, the performance of a contract with you or your organisation, or compliance with a legal obligation.

7. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, including any legal, regulatory, or professional retention requirements.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to processing or request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@ashforte.com.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction.

10. International transfers

We operate across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Where personal information is transferred across borders in the course of delivering services, we do so under safeguards appropriate to the applicable data protection framework.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the version published on this page, with the last updated date shown above.

12. Contact

Questions about this policy or about how we handle your personal information should be sent to contact@ashforte.com.
